Hazel is working on visualizing and quantifying density gradients in compressible turbulence with schlieren imaging. She is a recipient of the Dean’s Excellence and GEM Fellowships. Additionally, she is the principal cellist in the Cornell Symphony Orchestra and is a member of the Cornell Figure Skating Club.
